Today has been a restful Sunday so far, my sweet mother-in-law took my oldest two girls to Mass early, leaving me time to do a little reading, drink coffee, and paint my nails.
I haven't left the house for a whole week, so I was excited to get out. My back issues are subsiding, I think thanks to lots of prayer, rest, and Aleve. As an extra perk, since my girls who have to go to Mass already went, we got to leave the other little ones behind for fun with Nana while Charlie and I attended Mass on our own! It was so nice. (Not to mention, I'd love to keep my littles as far away as possible from the multitude of flu carriers!)
Anyway....here's what I wore.
My photographer was not so enthused with his job, hence the lack of "head to toe." I think I'm going to train Felicity (my oldest at 8) how to use my camera, she'll enjoy it a bit more I think.
I have like twenty pairs of these in all different colors. Usually I wear BIG dangley earrings, but today, it's just these!
Also, when I got home I just had to try and get my gorgeous coat in a picture. Now that I live in Texas, I don't get to wear it as much, but it is quite cold today. This pink wool coat was my grandmother's and she gave it to my mom, who at some point gave it to me. I love it. I added that gorgeous cashmere flower broach from The June Bride.
And now, I'm going to go enjoy the afternoon with my sweet family. If I don't get off here soon, my son is going to beat me to a pulp with my nail file!
Happy Feast of Our Lord's Baptism to all!
